Leading for Change: How to create sustainable innovation at your school
This session is meant for school leaders, aspiring leaders and subject/team leaders who are trying to create sustainable change at their schools. The session will focus on the vital steps to overcome resistance and instill a culture that is open to self-critique and innovation
L2 has done a wonderful job in creating a grassroots change in schools in its teacher-centered approach. Now we need to engage leaders to be a greater part of the conversation so that ideas do not die when individual innovators move on.
Teachers/Leaders will emerge from the session with the following:
- A planning protocol for change management
- A complete “back to the future” protocol for the change that they would like to complete at their school which maps out the path towards successful implementation
- A professional network that will support the change process moving forward
